Banx Watersports Warranty Policy
Last updated: April 2026
At Banx Watersports, we stand behind the gear we sell and want every customer to get on the water with confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the two types of warranty coverage available on products purchased from Banx Watersports, what is required to make a claim, and how the process works from start to finish.
Please read this policy carefully before submitting a warranty request. By purchasing from Banx Watersports, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Two Types of Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage at Banx Watersports falls into one of two categories, depending on the product purchased.
1. Manufacturer Warranty (Duotone and Other Represented Brands)
Most products sold at Banx Watersports — including wings, boards, foils, harnesses, wetsuits, and accessories from brands such as Duotone and other manufacturers we represent — are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's own warranty. The terms, duration, coverage, and exclusions of these warranties are set by the manufacturer, not by Banx Watersports.
Banx Watersports' role. We are happy to act as your advocate and intermediary. Our team will help you prepare your claim, submit it to the manufacturer on your behalf, communicate with the manufacturer's warranty department throughout the process, and walk you through any next steps.
Decision authority. The manufacturer is the sole decision-maker on all warranty claims for their products. They determine whether a claim is approved, denied, repaired, replaced, or credited, and they set the timeline for resolution. Banx Watersports cannot override, expedite, or guarantee the outcome of a manufacturer warranty decision.
Where to find brand-specific terms. Each brand publishes its own warranty terms, often included with the product or available on the manufacturer's website. We recommend reviewing those terms for the specific coverage period and conditions that apply to your product. Our team can also point you to the right resource if you're unsure.
2. Diamond Lite Paddles — Banx Watersports Direct Warranty
Diamond Lite Paddles are covered directly by Banx Watersports under a one (1) year limited warranty from the original date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
What this covers. Defects in the materials or construction of the paddle that arise under normal recreational use during the warranty period.
What this does not cover. Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, or impact; normal wear and tear; cosmetic damage that does not affect function; damage from improper storage, transport, or unauthorized modification or repair; and any product purchased from a source other than Banx Watersports.
Resolution. Approved claims will be resolved at Banx Watersports' discretion through repair, replacement with an equivalent product, or store credit.
Documentation Required for All Warranty Claims
Whether your claim falls under a manufacturer warranty or the Diamond Lite Paddles warranty, every warranty request must include all of the following before it can be reviewed or submitted:
- Proof of purchase. A copy of your receipt or order confirmation showing the product purchased and the date of purchase from Banx Watersports.
- Photo of the serial number on the product, where applicable. Many products carry a serial number on a label, sticker, or molded marking; please locate and photograph it clearly.
- Photos of the entire product, taken from multiple angles, so the overall condition of the item is visible.
- Photos showing the warranty issue, with clear close-up images of the defect or damage being claimed. The clearer and better-lit the photos, the faster we can move your claim forward.
Incomplete submissions cannot be processed. If any of the above documentation is missing, we will reach out to request it before the claim moves to the next step.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
All warranty claims are submitted by email to Banx Watersports. To start a claim:
- Email us with the subject line: "Warranty Request — [Your Name]"
- Attach all required documentation listed above (proof of purchase, serial number photo if applicable, full product photos, and photos of the issue).
- Include a brief written description of the problem: when you first noticed it, how the product has been used and stored, and any other context that may be helpful.
Once your email is received, our team will review the submission, confirm everything we need is included, and either (a) submit the claim to the manufacturer on your behalf, or (b) begin processing your Diamond Lite Paddle claim directly. We will keep you updated as the claim progresses.

Shipping and Return Responsibility
Warranty claims sometimes require the product to be inspected in person or shipped to the manufacturer for evaluation. Shipping responsibility is divided as follows:
Customer responsibility. The customer is responsible for the cost and arrangement of shipping the product to Banx Watersports (or directly to the manufacturer, if instructed) for warranty inspection. We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method, as Banx Watersports is not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit to us.
Banx Watersports / Manufacturer responsibility. If a claim is approved, Banx Watersports — or the manufacturer, in the case of a manufacturer warranty — will cover the return shipping cost of the repaired or replacement product back to the customer.
Denied claims. If a claim is denied, return shipping of the product back to the customer is the customer's responsibility. We will provide a shipping quote and confirm with you before sending the product back.
Local customers. Customers who can drop the product off and pick it up at our store are welcome to do so and will not incur shipping charges.
Important Notes
- The warranty period for Diamond Lite Paddles begins on the original date of purchase as shown on the receipt and is non-transferable — it applies only to the original purchaser.
- Manufacturer warranty periods, terms, and exclusions vary by brand and by product. Please refer to the documentation provided with your product or to the manufacturer's website for details.
- Banx Watersports reserves the right to update this Warranty Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase is the policy that applies to your product.
- This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
